PARTNERS

Alliance Africa is proud to work with the following partners:

Friends in Need Integrated Development Project (FINIDP)
A registered, community-based non-profit in Uganda, FINIDP serves rural communities and villages in the Mukono District of Uganda. Led by a diverse and talented group of professionals, including two university lecturers, an elementary school principal, a doctor, an accountant, a counselor, and several project managers, FINIDP strives “to build a literate, healthy, responsible and self-sustaining society living in a clean environment.” FINIDP’s integrated, people-based approach to development enables them to be sensitive to the needs of the community while providing sustainable support to families in need. FINIDP serves Mukono holistically through a series of projects, including livestock revolving projects, scholarships for AIDS orphans, HIV/AIDS awareness training, malaria prevention, and environmental conservation. For more information, see “Programs” or www.finidp.org.

Hope for Africa
A strong supporter of Alliance Africa, Hope for Africa is a student organization at the University of Mississippi that seeks to raise awareness and support for sustainable development in Africa. In addition to meeting regularly to discuss issues and plan activities, student leaders in Hope for Africa have raised support and awareness by sending letters and emails, designing and selling t-shirts, and organizing a benefit picnic and concert for Alliance Africa. They have raised over $5,000 for Alliance Africa.

Eta Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity, University of Mississippi
Eta Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity at the University of Mississippi is one of Alliance Africa’s closest friends. Led by Philanthropy Chairman, Patrick Woodyard (pictured above (far right) with FINIDP leaders Dan Kibago (left) and Mukasa Sabiiti), the Sigma Chi brothers raised money by selling ads for the university’s Derby Days charity event and sending letters to parents and alumni. The Eta Chapter of Sigma Chi has raised over $23,000 for Alliance Africa.
